Lauren Smith - Community Engagement Officer

Lauren is currently a dog Handler and search technician for Specialist Search Dogs, in which she works alongside a support team. Lauren runs her own dog walking business and Co-runs a dog training academy based in Yorkshire.

In addition, Lauren raises money for charity by using her key strengths of communication and organisation to create and attend fundraisers such as emergency service days, 3 peaks challenge, educational school visits, as well as creating calendars of the team to raise funds.

Her hobbies include exploring the mountains and bouldering, helping her improve her fitness for a range of searches she may attend.
